Gastropop is Apples & Bananas × Grape Gas, grown by Gibby's in Uxbridge. Typical test on our site is about 25% THC. People search “Gastropop strain,” “gastro pop weed,” and “gastropop Massachusetts.” Same plant. If the package says Gibby's, this is the cross we run in our rooms — not a candy, not a soda.
It is the fruit-forward member of our gas family. The Grape Gas parent is also on our menu as its own cultivar. Gastropop is what you buy when you want that grape-fuel line with more candy-apple on the front.
The cross
Lineage: Apples & Bananas × Grape Gas. Apples & Bananas is the dessert-apple/banana pastry parent you already know from other New England menus. Grape Gas (Grape Pie × Jet Fuel Gelato) is ours. Together they should smell like fruit and fuel, not like a vape cart.
Typical THC around 25% is mid-board for us — quieter on paper than Cap Junky at 29.5% or Loud Cake at 29.1%. That is a lab digit, not a quality ranking.
What to look for
Frost you can see. A nose that is still there when the lid comes off. Hand-trimmed calyxes, not a tumbled golf ball. We finish it in Uxbridge the same as MAC 1. Solar canopy, rainwater, CCC MB281347.
